What's in your Wardrobe?

Quality or Quantity?

I've always had a love for vintage fashion, and rummaging through the wardrobes of loved ones to uncover hidden classics feels like a thrilling treasure hunt. Recently, I stumbled upon not one, but three of my father-in-law's old Ralph Lauren shirts that had been gathering dust. They’re a bit oversized on me, but I adore that relaxed fit, so I decided to keep them all.

One of the shirts is over 20 years old, complete with the classic green brand tag on the inner neckline. Unfortunately, it had a small tear near the collar, so I took it to my tailor for a quick fix. To my surprise, he removed the tag and discarded it without realizing its significance. Looking back, I wish I had asked him to leave it intact—those small details like buttons and brand tags are so important when it comes to vintage clothing. They carry the history of the piece, so it’s always a good idea to preserve them!
